Materials & quality

What our furniture is made of

Every material we use is listed on the product page, including the parts you cannot see.

Woods

  • American white oak — the default for tables, cases, beds, and shelving. Hard, stable, and easy to repair.
  • American black walnut — used on the Lumen sideboard and by request. Darker, softer, shows figure.
  • Solid poplar — bed slats and internal structural parts where strength matters and grain does not show.
  • Where a veneered panel is used (large cabinet backs and side panels), it is stated in the product's construction list.

Covers, foam, and cane

  • Wool bouclé, cotton-linen, and wool-blend weaves; covers on most seating are zippered and removable.
  • High-resilience foam cores with feather or fibre wrap in seat cushions.
  • Hand-woven natural cane on door and chair panels; paper-cord seats on the Quill task chair.

Hardware and finishes

  • Solid brass pulls and feet, or blackened steel where specified.
  • Full-extension soft-close undermount runners on dressers and nightstands.
  • Hard-wax oil on tables and shelving — repairable at home with a finish kit we can send you.
  • Low-VOC water-based topcoats where a film finish is needed.
  • Anti-tip hardware ships with every tall case piece.

Care

  • Dust with a dry or barely damp cloth; avoid silicone or ammonia cleaners.
  • Blot spills on oiled surfaces immediately and re-oil the spot if it lightens.
  • Rotate and flip loose cushions monthly so they wear evenly.
  • Keep solid wood out of direct sun and away from heating vents to limit movement.

Limited warranty

Frames and joinery are warranted for ten years from delivery against defects in materials and workmanship, for the original purchaser, in residential use. Upholstery, foam, cane, and finishes are warranted for three years. The warranty does not cover normal wear, variation in wood colour and grain, damage from misuse, moisture, pets, or commercial use.

To open a warranty claim, email info@eleventisglobal.com with your order reference and photographs. We repair first where a repair will restore the piece, and replace or refund where it will not.
